Cologne (SID) – Second division promoted Eintracht Braunschweig has loaned young player Mehmet Ibrahimi from DFB Cup winners RB Leipzig. As the Lower Saxony football club announced on Monday, the 19-year-old is coming for one season.
“Mehmet is very well trained in football and will ensure even more competition in the position,” said Eintracht managing director Peter Vollmann.
In the past season, left winger Ibrahimi was used in the U19 Bundesliga. From the second half of the season, the native of Troisdorf regularly took part in professional training under Domenico Tedesco.
