Sam Howell has a hell of an arm, he is one of those who throw the ball like no one behind the opposing defense. From the height of his 21 years, the young NFL player chosen in the fifth round of the 2022 draft nevertheless has a terrible secret: he has never eaten hamburgers and eats (almost) exclusively breaded chicken, to the point of taking away his own victuals at dinners with team members.
Of course, since we are also big babies, we prepared a round of chicken fillets too, very crispy with a cornflake breading and lots of black pepper.
- 2 free-range chicken fillets
- 1 heaping teaspoon of flour
- 2 organic eggs
- 2 large handfuls of cornflakes
- 1 good pinch of garlic powder
- 1 pinch of MSG (optional)
- a few generous turns of the black pepper mill
- sel
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Cut the chicken into large strips. Prepare three soup plates: one with the flour seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder and MSG, one with the eggs beaten with a little salt, and one with the cornflakes crushed with salt and lots of of black pepper.
Pass each piece of chicken in the flour, then in the eggs, and finally in the cornflakes. Cook in a skillet with vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a few minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
Serve with ketchup to really be a big baby.
