Lambeau’s seats offer a breathtaking view.
This year, to be seen by a few powerful.
And the brass of the pack asked,
for muffled cheers and a cold filtered brew. “
Quoth le Phil, never again.
Hi Wes, the racing game continues to be a priority for MLF and the big new recruit only adds to the intrigue. How do you see this specific training camp influencing the evolution of the Packers’ running game and the running backs themselves?
This is the pagination in the next chapter. He takes all the positive things Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams and the offense did last year and improves in second year of Matt LaFleur’s system. As impressive as Jones was last year, I still think the Packers only touched the surface of what he’s capable of in this offense. Aaron Jones who finished 2019 was three times more dangerous than Aaron Jones who started the season.
If you could put two offensive players, two defensive players and a special teams player that Aaron Rodgers was at one point team-mates with on this Packers team, who would they be?
I’ll say 2014 Jordy Nelson, 2016 Jared Cook, 2014 Clay Matthews, 2010 BJ Raji and Randall Cobb in special teams to get him back on the roster.
For the biggest roar, that pass to Cobb against the Giants is a great memory. I was going to take my wife to the game but unfortunately she fell ill. I was able to take my dad instead and my brother got a ticket next to us. We sat in the opposite end area and had no actual view of the take. All we saw was a wave of weapons and sounds coming towards us and knew we had to score. Always get goosebumps thinking about it. Please keep writing.
And there I was standing in the South Zone, ready to do Culver’s halftime report. Good luck after that, Wes. This game is kind of lost in history because of all of the drama the following week in Dallas, but it was a blow to it. It sent a message that the Packers weren’t just happy to be there – they wanted to lead the table to a championship.

Lambeau’s biggest roar? Final touchdown pass and run in the 2018 opener against the Bears. The place was deafening.
It’s hard to believe it’s been almost two years already.
Take a close look at Rodgers’ Marcedes Lewis touchdown reception against the Giants. Immediately after the play, he begins to celebrate with the iconic Rodgers belt, and is then assailed by a bear hug from Rodgers. I love the culture of this team. Go Pack Go!
Matt LaFleur said it better than I ever could – you can’t have enough players like Marcedes Lewis on your team. If you don’t believe me, look at how bad the complaints have been since Jacksonville cut him off two years ago. It’s more than a good tight blocking end. It is the heartbeat. It is the soul. And the Jaguars lack that leadership.

Tim Boyle is recognized as experienced due to his 19 pre-season playing year in MLF offense. Each year, we are reminded that preseason production is not an indicator of the success of the season, especially when production runs into non-beginner talent. Are we not exaggerating the experience factor in the QB debate?
I don’t think that’s what Boyle is known for. For the past two years, Boyle has met Rodgers and stayed away from him. This experience is very valuable. Additionally, his main contender for the No.2 position has yet to lift a single weight at Lambeau Field. There’s more to being a backup QB than the number of regular season snaps you’ve played. Just ask Ty Detmer and Doug Pederson.
Watching the annual reunion, I was really impressed with Mark Murphy highlighting the “Enough Is Enough” video. Wanting to forward the link to my PackerFans mailing list, I went to the “Video” and “Social Justice” tabs on your website, but couldn’t find it anywhere. Thanks so much for even having a “Social Justice” tab, by the way, but would you be so kind as to put the “Enough Is Enough” video on this page as well?
Yes. Here is the link to this video.
