Manchester City is just days away from signing a new € 40 million wing, while Barcelona have put 12 first-team stars on sale – all in Friday’s Euro Paper Talk.
THE CITY OF MAN CLOSES ON THE OFFER OF TORRES
Manchester City they are said to complete the transfer of the Valencia wing Ferran Torres in a few days.
Eurosport, as mentioned by Sports Illustrated, suggests that City will offer the attacker € 40 million in hopes of concluding a deal.
Torres tops Pep Guardiola’s wish list this summer after City he recently sold Leroy Sane to Bayern Munich.
City was said to have initially offered around 20 million euros for the Spanish national team U-21, but has now practically doubled its offer.
In fact, the report adds that the Premier League suit will offer € 30 million plus € 10 million in add-ons for the 20-year-old.
The move is expected to be completed in the coming days, with the two sides much closer to an agreement than before.
Torres, who can play on both sides, has scored nine goals in 97 appearances for Valencia. He is famous for his pace and ability to beat players, making him a perfect replacement for Sane.
