Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are interested in purchasing CSKA striker Fyodor Chalov, according to Daily Mirror. According to the publication, the German “Bavaria”, “Borussia” Dortmund and “Leipzig” are also showing interest in the player, as well as speaking in the French championship “Monaco” and the Spanish “Seville”.
It is noted that London's Arsenal drew attention to Chalov after the football player scored a goal in the last year's confrontation with CSKA in the quarterfinal of the Europa League. Last year, the army attacker again forced to talk about himself, scoring a goal against Real Madrid in the Champions League group stage match.
Chalov is a graduate of CSKA and made his debut for the team in 2016. Last season, the championship of Russia, he became the top scorer of the tournament, scoring 15 goals. Also, the 21-year-old striker made seven assists during the championship, thus becoming also the best on the “goal + pass” system.
In January of this year, Chalov signed a new contract with CSKA – the current agreement of the player is calculated until the summer of 2022. In March, Chalov made his debut as part of the Russian national team, coming on as a substitute in the selection game for Euro 2020 against Belgium (1: 3). The footballer also appeared on the field in a match with Kazakhstan (4: 0), but in the June games against San Marino (9: 0) and Cyprus (1: 0) remained in the reserve. The transfer cost of Chalov is estimated at € 20 million.
