Waisake Naholo will make his Highlanders comeback through the bench against Lions.
Highlanders have called Waisake Naholo on the bench to meet the lion in Johannesburg on Sunday (NZ).
All Black Wing has not played since the Blues game in round six, but now gets the chance to squeeze its All Blacks case with four games back in Highlanders regular season.
There is also an interesting switch at # 8, where Shannon Frizell gets a chance at the back of the scrum after his second All Blacks rest against Jaguares.
Captain Luke Whitelock continues on to the No 6 shirt when Elliot Dixon misses the 23 altogether.

Experienced Teihorangi Walden returns to midfield to renew his partnership with Rob Thompson, where Sio Tomkinson enters the No 11 jersey to cover the injured Tevita Li.

But much of the focus will be on the return of Naholo.
The All Blacks wing suffered a difficult start to the season and was out of shape before joining a knee injury training after the Blues game at Eden Park.
In his absence, Crusader's wings have impressed Sevu Reece and George Bridge for the champions, as Naholo's All Blacks spot is under pressure.
Naholo recently announced that this season will be his last for Highlanders, and he will make a deal with London Irish after the Rugby World Cup.
Highlanders is the third place in the New Zealand conference, but has only three points of competition more than Lions who have played a game more.
