Editorial Standards

At Archysport, we believe great sports journalism requires more than speed — it demands accuracy, fairness, and a genuine respect for the reader. These editorial standards guide every article, analysis, and report we publish. They represent our commitment to the people who trust us with their time and attention.

Our Editorial Mission

Archysport exists to deliver sports coverage that is accurate, timely, and insightful. We cover football, basketball, tennis, golf, baseball, badminton, judo, the NFL, and international sport news with the depth and context our readers deserve. Every piece of content we publish aims to inform, not mislead — to add value, not noise.

Accuracy and Fact-Checking

Factual accuracy is non-negotiable. Our writers verify claims using primary sources — official league statements, verified statistics databases, press conferences, and direct interviews. When information comes from secondary sources, we cross-reference it before publication. Statistics are sourced from recognized providers and cited accordingly.

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Corrections are issued promptly and clearly marked within the article, with a note explaining what was changed and when. We do not silently alter published content.

Independence and Impartiality

Our editorial content is produced independently of any commercial, political, or organizational influence. Advertising and sponsored content are clearly labeled and separated from editorial reporting. No advertiser, sponsor, or partner has input into our news coverage or editorial decisions.

Our writers and editors disclose any relevant conflicts of interest. We do not accept gifts, hospitality, or other incentives that could compromise our editorial independence.

Fairness and Balance

We strive to represent all sides of a story. When reporting on disputes, controversies, or contested outcomes, we seek comment from all relevant parties. If a party declines to comment or cannot be reached, we note that in the article.

Opinion and analysis pieces are clearly distinguished from news reporting. Our readers should always know whether they are reading factual reporting or editorial commentary.

Attribution and Sources

We attribute information to its source whenever possible. Direct quotes are presented accurately and in context. We do not fabricate quotes or attribute statements to people who did not make them. Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when the information is of significant public interest and cannot be obtained through on-the-record means.

Corrections Policy

When errors are identified — whether by our team or by readers — we correct them as quickly as possible. Minor corrections such as typos or formatting issues are fixed without notation. Substantive factual corrections are accompanied by a visible correction notice at the top or bottom of the article, specifying the nature of the error and when it was corrected.

To report an error, please email corrections@archysport.com with a link to the article and a description of the issue.

Our Editorial Team

Archysport’s editorial team is led by Editor-in-Chief Daniel Richardson, a veteran sports journalist with over 15 years of experience. Our writers are specialists in the sports they cover, bringing deep subject-matter knowledge and established source networks. You can learn more about our team on the Meet the Team page.

Content Updates

Some of our evergreen articles — including guides, rankings, and explainers — are periodically reviewed and updated to reflect the latest information. When an article is substantially updated, we note the revision date alongside the original publication date.

Reader Trust

These standards exist because our readers matter. If you have concerns about our coverage or believe we have fallen short of these standards, we encourage you to contact us at editorial@archysport.com. Accountability is not a slogan — it is how we operate.
