Preparatory work for the arena began in 2020 within the grounds of the Brno Exhibition Centre, with actual construction officially commencing in September 2023. The final finishing touches are currently underway. The venue’s packed debut schedule kicks off in early December with the Women’s European Handball Championship. The official grand opening is scheduled for January 8, featuring a concert by four Czech vocal stars, followed closely on January 20 by a performance from opera legends José Carreras and Plácido Domingo. Later in the year, the arena will host K-pop concerts, film music showcases, and world championships in indoor soccer and sport climbing.

The arena offers a seating capacity of 12,300 seats for standard events. When configured for major concerts that utilize the central floor area, total capacity expands up to 15,000 spectators depending on the stage setup. Public Preview and Access Details
Ahead of the official winter debuts, local residents and visitors will get their first look inside the facility during a public preview weekend. Because interest has been exceptionally high, organizers required visitors to reserve entry slots in advance. For those unable to secure a spot inside, management has arranged large outdoor projection screens on the plaza in front of the arena to broadcast video tours of the project.
