Novak Djokovic returned to the China Open for the first time in 11 years, appearing on the grounds to begin his training regimen. The following day, September 27, Felix Auger-Aliassime held a specialized training session at the Lotus Court in the morning, followed by Mirra Andreeva in the afternoon.
Several players from the Chinese Tennis Association also appeared on September 27 for pre-tournament drills, including Zhang Zhizhen, Zhu Lin, and Sun Xinran.
