Fenerbahçe’s general assembly meeting gathered members to vote on real estate and commercial authorizations requested by the board of directors.
During the proceedings at the Mali Genel Kurul, the board of directors sought membership approval for a series of critical authorizations spanning property acquisitions, facility developments, and commercial initiatives. The agenda items touched on long-term infrastructure assets designed to shape the club’s financial and sporting future.
Property Acquisitions and Facility Projects
Among the primary items submitted for approval was the authorization for the board to acquire real estate properties from public institutions or third parties through purchases, rentals, allocations, or easement rights through the end of their working term. This includes pursuing the acquisition of a 14.934 m2 section of the Samandıra Can Bartu Facilities belonging to the Treasury.
Members also reviewed plans regarding club-owned properties and use rights. Projects up for discussion included development and renovation plans for the Kenan Evren High School property in Kadıköy’s Zühtüpaşa neighborhood—covering 13.972m2—along with the creation and outfitting of a historical Fenerbahçe Museum on site. Further initiatives involved the 124.217,53 m2 Maltepe Football Academy property in Atışokulu, the Metin Aşık building project at the Dereağzı Lefter Küçükandonyadis Facilities, and capacity increase projections for the Chobani Stadium at the Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex.
Commercial Initiatives and University Partnerships
The assembly evaluated requests allowing the board to regulate the use of the Fenerbahçe brand and trademark elements in real estate development projects with third parties, including information updates regarding the COVE1907 project. Additional voting items covered permissions to establish or participate in domestic and international commercial enterprises, cooperatives, associations, and foundations, alongside decisions regarding company share buybacks, structural changes, or liquidations.
Leadership also briefed the assembly on the planned “120th Anniversary Lottery,” coordinated through permissions from the National Lottery Administration. Finally, the agenda addressed the ongoing cooperation between Fenerbahçe University and Medicana Education Services and Trade Inc., seeking member authorization to review existing agreements, take necessary corporate decisions, and initiate relevant legal proceedings.
