Board Seeks Broad Authority Across Real Estate and Commercial Ventures
During the meeting, the club administration formally requested authorization from the general assembly across multiple strategic fronts. Leadership sought approval to acquire real estate—through purchases, rentals, allocations, or easements—from public institutions and third parties through the end of their current administrative term.
A primary focus of the property initiatives centered on the Samandıra Can Bartu Facilities. Specifically, the board asked members for the mandate to pursue and finalize the acquisition of a 14.934 m2 section currently belonging to the Turkish Treasury, securing full administrative clearance for the transaction through the end of their mandate.
Project Updates and Infrastructure Proposals
The assembly also received detailed briefings regarding several high-profile infrastructure and development projects across Istanbul:
- Kenan Evren High School Site: Members were briefed on the planned project for the 13.972m2 property located in Kadıköy’s Zühtüpaşa neighborhood (1133 block, parcels 11 and 12), which includes plans to establish and furnish a dedicated Fenerbahçe Museum inside the historic building.
- Maltepe Football Academy: The board presented project details concerning the 124.217,53 m2 property located in Maltepe’s Atışokulu neighborhood (194 block, parcel 17).
- Dereağzı Lefter Küçükandonyadis Facilities: Updates were provided regarding the Metin Aşık building project located within the complex.
- Chobani Stadium: Members reviewed plans aimed at increasing spectator capacity at the Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Sports Complex.
Commercial Partnerships and Legal Mandates
Beyond physical infrastructure, the assembly addressed commercial and institutional expansion. The administration requested the authority to regulate the use of the Fenerbahçe brand and its associated elements in real estate development contracts with third parties, including specific briefings on the project designated as COVE1907.
Leadership additionally sought authorization to establish, invest in, or restructure domestic and international commercial enterprises, cooperatives, associations, and foundations, alongside managing share buybacks for existing club-affiliated entities. Members were informed about the planned "120th Anniversary Lottery," to be conducted under the permission of the National Lottery Administration (Milli Piyango İdaresi Genel Müdürlüğü).
Finally, the general assembly evaluated the ongoing cooperation between Fenerbahçe University and Medicana Education Services and Trade Inc. The board requested authorization to review and assess existing agreements, make necessary decisions, and initiate any required legal proceedings through the remainder of their term.
