Following that appearance, she mentioned experiencing motivation issues, undergoing a minor surgical procedure, and taking a scheduled break, leaving fans and analysts guessing about the timeline of her return.

The pregnancy announcement marks a major milestone for an athlete who established herself among the world’s elite in both singles and doubles. Kudermetova secured her most significant career title at Wimbledon, winning the women’s doubles championship alongside partner Elise Mertens of Belgium. Prior to that triumph, she reached the Wimbledon doubles final in 2021.
