The opening event of the regional circuit took place at the club’s home range, situated on facilities adjacent to the local clay pigeon shooting range within the municipality of Teguise. Archers from across Lanzarote gathered for the weekend competition alongside a visiting competitor who traveled in from Tenerife, according to local media coverage from La Voz de Lanzarote.
Competitors posted scores that will feed directly into a centralized Canary Islands database. Through this structure, local athletes will measure their performances against archers representing other islands across the regional league standings.
Building Momentum After Eight Months
The competition marks a significant milestone for the Club Pentarcos, which was established just eight months ago. Club members have focused heavily on setting up the entity, developing local training facilities, and organizing sanctioned sporting activities to build a foundation for the sport on the island.
