Wildcard Standings and Guardians’ Comeback
The loss carries heavy implications for the postseason race. The Guardians secured a 7-6 victory over the Chicago White Sox on a ninth-inning, two-out, two-run double by Brayan Rocchio, which allowed them to gain ground on Toronto in the wildcard standings.
