Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu saw her run at the Omnium de tennis de Guadalajara come to an early end on Sunday.
Entering the draw as a wildcard entry granted by tournament organizers, Andreescu fell in straight sets to Spain’s Cristina Bucsa at the WTA 500 tournament in Zapopan, Mexico.

The sixth-seeded Bucsa defeated Andreescu 6-4, 6-3 in a contest that lasted one hour and 37 minutes.

Her next opponent in the tournament brackets will be Hungary’s Panna Udvardy.
