Shifting focus to the insurer’s operational performance during the Berlin events, Tuba Buldu highlighted substantial growth within the health insurance sector. Türkiye Sigorta advanced from seventh to third place in the health insurance branch by the end of 2025.
By July 2026, the company expanded its insured customer base nearly fourfold to reach 1.2 million policyholders—meaning roughly one in every seven people holding health insurance in Turkey utilizes their network. Buldu explained that the firm’s strategy prioritizes preventive care, digital health solutions, and AI-supported applications distributed across an ecosystem spanning 81 provinces and more than 6,000 healthcare facilities.
