Representatives of the Club de Tiro con Arco de la Asociación Familia Piemontesa de San Francisco secured two gold medals at the Torneo Aire Libre Homologatorio “15 Aniversario,” held on Sunday, September 6, according to regional reporting. The event was organized by the Tiro con Arco de Santo Tomé organization.
Mauricio Bertin Wins Barebow Senior Title
In the Barebow Senior (Raso Masculino) category, Mauricio Bertin secured second place during the initial qualifying stage.
During the quarterfinal round, Bertin defeated Jose Luis Pesoa of Tiro con Arco Paraná by a score of 7 to 3. In the final match, Bertin overcame Lucas Lissi of the Club Caza y Pesca de Esperanza 6 to 4 to claim the category championship.
Emma Bicego Triumphs in Sub-13 Division
In the youth division, Emma Bicego competed in the Jóvenes Promesas Sub-13 category at a distance of 15 meters. The young archer from San Francisco captured the gold medal and earned an official recognition for “meta cumplida” (goal accomplished) after breaking her personal best with a total score of 663 points.
Club officials noted that these results highlight the ongoing training and instructional framework established for athletes at the institution. The Escuela de Tiro con Arco de la Asociación Familia Piemontesa holds regular sessions on Saturdays from 15:00 to 16:30 local time.
