The victory marks the fifth successful defense of the welterweight crown for Kwasi, who improved his professional record to 47-6-2 with 23 knockouts. Hristov dropped to 20-6 with 8 knockouts following the championship bout. According to combat sports reporting, the win advances Kwasi toward December’s Welterweight Grand Prix at COLLISION 10, where an eight-man, one-night tournament is scheduled to take place.

In the heavyweight co-main event, contender Tariq Osaro made a statement by stopping veteran Errol Zimmerman in the second round.
