The decisive Game 5 matchup unfolded decisively for the visiting squad under manager Saccardi. Parma asserted control early, building a 4-0 lead through the first two innings and maintaining the advantage without serious pressure for the remainder of the contest. The final 9-0 scoreline underscored Parma’s dominance, returning the championship trophy to the ducal city two years after their last title.
