As host club Paris FC prepares to welcome opponents to the outskirts of Paris, the tournament serves as a high-profile platform for young players to challenge traditional club structures. Domestic Heavyweights and International Contenders
The 2025 sporting line-up features a mix of domestic heavyweights and international guests. Defending champions RC Lens enter the tournament looking to retain the trophy they won in 2024, alongside previous winners LOSC (2021), Olympique de Marseille (2017), and Montpellier HSC (2023). They are joined by AS Saint-Étienne making their fourth tournament appearance, and AAS Sarcelles, who secured their spot by winning the Challenger qualifying tournament on April 21, 2025.

The tournament format breaks away from conventional single-gender youth fixtures by combining the results of U15 boys and U16 girls to determine match outcomes and standings. According to the official tournament schedule released by Paris FC, Friday, August 29, will feature qualifying rounds structured around a single group containing all 10 participating clubs. During Friday’s matches, teams compete in a cumulative format consisting of one 25-minute period for the U15 boys followed by one 25-minute period for the U16 girls, with the combined goals establishing the final match score.
Play-Offs and Public Access in Meudon
Play-offs follow on Saturday, August 30, shifting the sequence so that the U16 girls kick off the matches before the U15 boys conclude them. Admission to the Complexe Sportif Marcel Bec in Meudon is free for spectators, offering public access to youth academies operated by some of Europe’s most prominent professional clubs.
