Nike and the National Football League have expanded their team apparel lineup with the release of the 2026 Rivalries collections, centered on divisional matchups and community identity.
Expanding the Nike x NFL Rivalries Program for 2026
The Nike x NFL Rivalries initiative returns following a high-selling debut in 2025 that generated record-setting merchandise figures for Fanatics. Taryn Hutt, the NFL’s vice president of club marketing, noted that expanding the program captures the tradition and spirit of divisional football. The 2026 release puts a specific primary focus on clubs within the AFC South and NFC North divisions, connecting team branding directly with local fanbases.
Jersey Rotation Rules and On-Field Debut Schedules
Participating teams will wear their new Rivalries uniforms during upcoming home games against divisional opponents. Once a team debuts its design on the field, that specific uniform remains part of the official rotation for three years alongside existing alternate jerseys. Teams that launched their apparel during the initial 2025 rollout will wear those designs again during selected divisional matchups, bringing the total active Rivalries program footprint to sixteen teams across the 2025 and 2026 seasons, with remaining franchises scheduled for subsequent years.
Community Visual Campaigns and Cultural Collaborations
The 2026 launch features targeted visual campaigns set within the home markets of the participating franchises. These multimedia rollouts incorporate active NFL players and league legends—including Jameson Williams, Jordan Love, Nico Collins, Sauce Gardner, and Randy Moss—alongside local musical acts. Featured artists span regional hip-hop and country genres, featuring rappers Big Sean, Slim Thug, and Bun B, alongside country musicians Gowa Gibbs and Thomas Edwards, to emphasize the historical ties between each franchise and its surrounding city.
Retail Availability and Global Distribution
Supporters looking to purchase the new Rivalries jerseys and associated fan collections can access them starting September 1 through multiple official platforms. Retail channels include Nike.com, NFLShop.com, Fanatics.com, team stadium stores, and select international distributors and official NFL Shop international outlets.
