The host nation’s success was anchored by strong performances in the doubles categories. In mixed doubles, the pairing of Yonatan Linarez and Nairoby Abigail Jiménez claimed the tournament championship, securing the first-place finish. Their compatriots Anderson Taveras and Daniela Acosta rounded out the mixed doubles podium by finishing in the third position.
In women’s doubles, the Dominican Republic captured another top-tier finish as Alissa Juleixi Acosta and Daniela Acosta took first place. Meanwhile, Claritza Confident Pie and Nairoby Abigail Jiménez earned second place in the same category, cementing a productive tournament for the nation’s women’s doubles contingent.
Men’s Doubles Podiums and International Champions
The men’s doubles draw also featured prominent local representation. Víctor Alexander Ovalles Mordán and Ernick Zorrilla secured the second-place position. Two additional Dominican pairs—Yonatan Linarez paired with Anderson Taveras, and Emmanuel Castro paired with Nelfi de la Mota—shared the third-place position.
Beyond the host nation’s medal haul, the tournament crowned several international champions. Argentina’s Nicolás Oliva and Santiago Otero captured the men’s doubles title. In singles competition, Jenjira Stadelmann of Switzerland claimed victory in women’s singles, while Jay Chun of the United States secured first place in men’s singles.
