Wardrobe Evolution Toward Minimalism
Branišová arrived for the photo session with a trunk full of clothing, demonstrating a distinct shift in her personal style over recent years. That approach changed after she experienced the classic closet dilemma of having a full wardrobe while feeling like she had nothing to wear.
She now prioritizes well-fitting silhouettes and timeless pieces designed for longevity. Her daily color palette relies heavily on neutral foundations—including white, beige, brown, black, grey, dark blue, and green—though she still incorporates brighter tones into summer dresses.
What Jaromír Jágr Prefers and Dislikes
The conversation also shed light on how the couple’s fashion choices intersect. While Branišová appreciates diverse styles, including oversized streetwear, she noted that the former NHL star has clear preferences regarding her attire.
She added that Jágr favors femininity, fitted cuts, and dresses, while disliking overly loose garments or masculine tailoring like large blazers. However, she emphasized that he does not dictate her wardrobe choices.
Influencing the Hockey Legend’s Style
Branišová’s eye for fashion has also translated into updates for Jágr’s wardrobe. During a trip to the United States a couple of years ago, the veteran forward favored denim shorts and graphic t-shirts. Branišová subsequently encouraged him to try lightweight linen garments for the summer months.
Jágr now reportedly embraces linen year-round, expanding his everyday clothing options to include tailored trousers, smart shorts, shirts, polo shirts, and brighter shades like yellow.
Shopping Habits and Designer Collaborations
When it comes to purchasing clothing, Branišová prefers shopping trips during travels to the United States, where she favors the Canadian brand Aritzia for its fit and availability. For domestic shopping in the Czech Republic, she relies primarily on online orders from retailers such as & Other Stories, COS, and Zara.

Her wardrobe also features custom-made designer pieces created by her long-time collaborator, Czech fashion designer Zuzana Lešák Černé. Branišová wears these bespoke creations for major public events, including the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and various formal balls, alongside everyday winter coats designed for durability.
Accessorizing and Signature Pieces
Beyond garments, Branišová highlighted a few specific accessories that remain constants in her daily routine. Alongside luxury timepieces, her collection features a tennis bracelet as a staple sentimental piece that she rarely removes.
