In cycling, the individual time trials take place on the city circuit of Taranto, with the women’s event starting at 11:00 local time followed by the men’s event at 13:00. Swimmers will compete in events including the 50-meter butterfly, 400-meter freestyle, 200-meter backstroke, and 100-meter breaststroke—with Benedetta Pilato entered in the breaststroke—alongside the women’s 1500-meter freestyle.
Fencing action gets underway at the PalaRicciardi in Taranto with the sabre events. The tournament bracket opens at 13:00, leading up to the medal finals at 17:00. Meanwhile, taekwondo preliminaries and quarter-finals for the men’s 68kg and women’s 57kg categories begin at 09:00 at the Giovanni Paolo II Sports Hall in Massafra, with medal rounds scheduled from 17:30 onward.
