According to Motorsport.com and FormulaPassion, Hamilton reported that his car felt completely fine during the opening practice session before a sequence of minor adjustments pushed the machine in the wrong direction ahead of the afternoon competitive running.

“In Practice 1 everything was okay, then we made small modifications and it was a disaster,” Hamilton told reporters after climbing out of the cockpit, summing up a frustrating session in front of a packed partisan crowd in the Netherlands.
