The couple posted announcements featuring images of clean gold bands worn on their ring fingers, confirming media reports that they had wed in an intimate family gathering. According to reporting from international outlets including People and the Daily Mail, the ceremony took place in the Portuguese coastal town of Cascais, with the couple’s five children in attendance.
The marriage follows a public engagement announced exactly one year prior. On August 11, 2025, Rodríguez shared an image on Instagram displaying a large, oval-cut diamond ring alongside the caption, „Ja, ich will. In diesem und in all meinen Leben“ („Yes, I do. In this life and in all my lives“).””
A Decade-Long Relationship
Ronaldo, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, first met in Madrid in 2016 while the forward was playing for Real Madrid and Rodríguez was working in a Gucci store, as reported by Bild. Over the next ten years, their domestic life relocated alongside Ronaldo’s club career moves.
The couple moved to Turin in 2018 when Ronaldo joined Juventus, relocated to England in 2021, and subsequently moved to Saudi Arabia in 2023 after Ronaldo signed with Al-Nassr, where he currently plays.
