ESPN and NFL Network Partner for Expanded Back Together Weekend

With NFL training camps underway, ESPN and NFL Network are celebrating the NFL’s past and present across two consecutive weekends in August. ESPN will deliver expanded live training camp programming with the addition of NFL Network — offering fans more hours of inside access and a ticket to one of the sport’s most meaningful annual traditions, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony.

The weekend opens Saturday, Aug. 1, with a special edition of NFL Live: Back Together Weekend from 9 a.m. – noon ET on ESPN and NFL Network. Host Laura Rutledge will be joined in-studio by Dan Orlovsky, Jason McCourty, Louis Riddick and senior NFL insider Adam Schefter to break down the biggest storylines and latest developments as all 32 teams return to work.

Following the morning broadcast, Saturday’s coverage continues on NFL Network from noon – 5 p.m., hosted from the network’s Los Angeles studio by Rhett Lewis and Maurice Jones-Drew. Live look-ins will continue to span camps across the league with reports from NFL Network and ESPN voices, including Steve Mariucci, Omar Ruiz (San Francisco 49ers), Brian Baldinger, Mike Garafolo (New York Giants), Chris Rose, Michael Robinson (Dallas Cowboys), Daniel Jeremiah, Mina Kimes (Los Angeles Chargers), Brooke Pryor, Kyle Brandt (Pittsburgh Steelers), Stacey Dales (Minnesota Vikings), Steve Wyche, Cynthia Frelund (Denver Broncos), Ian Rapoport, and Marc Ross (Cleveland Browns).

On Sunday, Aug. 2, NFL Network presents four additional hours of training camp programming from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., again hosted by Lewis and Jones-Drew. Sunday’s camp reports will feature Cam Wolfe, Steve Smith (Miami Dolphins), Gerald McCoy, Sara Walsh (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Omar Ruiz, David Carr (Las Vegas Raiders), Jane Slater (New Orleans Saints), Judy Battista (Jacksonville Jaguars), Ian Rapoport (Detroit Lions), and Stacey Dales (Green Bay Packers).

Martin (New York Jets), Jeremy Fowler (Atlanta Falcons), Sal Paolantonio (Philadelphia Eagles), Dan Graziano (Kansas City Chiefs), Mike Reiss (New England Patriots), and Brooke Pryor (Pittsburgh Steelers). NFL Nation reporters will also contribute to ESPN.com’s comprehensive training camp coverage throughout the weekend, including team-by-team notebooks with daily updates from camp and a closer look at the tightest position battles on each roster.

NFL Network’s signature Inside Training Camp then returns for the 2026-27 season, bringing fans extensive daily updates featuring insider access across all 32 teams and hosted from NFL Network’s Los Angeles studio, from Aug. 3-12 (Weekdays: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Aug. 8: 9 a.m. – noon | Aug. 9: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.).

Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio

ESPN and NFL Network will present the Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement ceremony live from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 8 from noon-2:30 p.m. Rich Eisen will host live from Canton, joined by Louis Riddick and Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, as the Class of 2026 (Drew Brees, Roger Craig, Larry Fitzgerald, Luke Kuechly and Adam Vinatieri) takes its place among the game’s immortals. This marks ESPN’s 31st and NFL Network’s 23rd consecutive year showcasing the event.

As part of its expansive preseason schedule, NFL Network will provide an encore presentation of the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game between the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers on Friday, Aug. 7, at 8 p.m., giving fans another chance to catch the NFL’s return to the field.
