Alimerka Oviedo Baloncesto has appointed Alejandro Paniagua as the team’s new assistant coach for the upcoming season, replacing Miguel Ereño. Paniagua joins the Asturias-based club after serving as an assistant to Lolo Encinas at Alega Cantabria, according to official club communications.

The move marks a shift in the technical staff as the club prepares for its next campaign. Alejandro Paniagua, born in Valladolid in 1990, steps into the role following a tenure with Alega Cantabria. He takes over the position from Miguel Ereño, who is departing the organization to pursue a new professional challenge.
Ereño, born in Vizcaya in 1995, concludes a two-year stint with the club. During his tenure, Ereño was part of the coaching staff that guided the team to the Final Four in the promotion race for the ACB.

The incoming assistant brings experience from the regional leagues, having worked closely with Lolo Encinas.
