Real Avilés Industrial has launched its 2026/27 season ticket campaign, as the club prepares to compete in Primera Federación. The campaign, titled “No lo eliges. Te pertenece” (“You don’t choose it. It belongs to you”), aims to deepen fan engagement following a record 3,581 season ticket holders and an average attendance of over 3,500 spectators in the 2025/26 season, according to the club’s official announcement.
The campaign marks a strategic effort to maintain the momentum generated by the team’s strong community ties. The 2025/26 season saw the team achieve its highest-ever season ticket sales, a figure that the club attributes to its focus on fostering a sense of belonging among supporters.
Stadium Improvements and Digital Overhaul
Central to the campaign is the modernization of Román Suárez Puerta, the club’s home ground in Avilés, Asturias. While specific details of the upgrades remain under review, the club has confirmed plans to enhance fan amenities, including expanded seating, improved accessibility, and upgraded audio-visual systems. A spokesperson for Real Avilés stated, “These improvements are designed to create a more immersive experience for fans while ensuring the stadium meets modern safety and comfort standards.”
The digital platform, developed in partnership with a local tech firm, will offer fans exclusive content, real-time updates, and interactive features. The system will also streamline ticket purchases and membership management, addressing feedback from supporters about the need for a more user-friendly interface. “The goal is to make every fan feel connected to the club, whether they’re at the stadium or watching from home,” the spokesperson added.
Attendance Records and Fan Engagement
The 2025/26 season saw Real Avilés achieve a record 3,581 season ticket holders, surpassing the previous high. The team’s average attendance also exceeded the league’s median, according to data from the Spanish Football League (LFP). This surge in support has been credited to the club’s community outreach programs, including youth academies and local partnerships, which have strengthened ties with the region’s football fans.
