Al Nassr FC Riyadh 5 – 1 Al-Ahli Doha (22/4): Resumen del partido
Al Nassr FC Riyadh secured a commanding 5-1 victory over Al-Ahli Doha in the 2025-26 AFC Champions League Two semifinal on April 22, 2026, advancing to the tournament final for the first time in the club’s history.
The match, played at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh, began with Al-Ahli Doha taking an early lead through Sekou Yansané’s goal in the opening minutes. Although, Al Nassr responded swiftly, with Kingsley Coman equalizing shortly after to restore balance.
From that point, Al Nassr dominated proceedings. Angelo Gabriel played a pivotal role, setting up Coman for the equalizer before scoring himself to provide Al Nassr a 2-1 lead midway through the first half. Coman then added his second goal just before halftime, putting Al Nassr ahead 3-1 at the break.
In the second half, Al Nassr continued their ascendancy. Coman completed his hat-trick in the 64th minute after another incisive pass from Angelo, extending the lead to 4-1. Abdullah Al-Hamdan sealed the victory with a fifth goal late in the game, resulting in a final score of 5-1.
Despite Cristiano Ronaldo’s presence in the starting lineup, his performance was described as underwhelming, with limited influence on the game and poor finishing in front of goal. Angelo Gabriel and Kingsley Coman emerged as the standout performers, driving Al Nassr’s attacking play and contributing significantly to the goal tally.
The victory marks a historic milestone for Al Nassr, as it represents their first-ever appearance in the AFC Champions League Two final. The club now stands just one match away from winning the continental trophy.
Al Nassr will now await the winner of the other semifinal to determine their opponent in the final, scheduled for a later date in the 2025-26 season.
