Türkyılmaz, a 7’0” (2.13m) forward, most recently played for Balıkesir Büyükşehir Belediyespor during the 2024-2025 season. Türkyılmaz’s journey through Turkish basketball has been extensive. His professional career began in 2007 with Bandırma Kırmızı, followed by a three-year stint with Banvit from 2010-2013. He then moved to Fenerbahçe for a season before a brief period with Le Mans Sarthe Basket in France in 2014-2015. He also had a spell with GKK Šibenik in Croatia in 2015, returning to Turkey to play for Galatasaray the same year. Further moves followed, including TED Ankara Kolejliler (2016), another return to GKK Šibenik (2016-2017), Konyaspor (2017-2018), Sakarya BŞB (2018-2019), and Bursaspor (2019-2020). Most recently, he spent two seasons with Balıkesir BŞB (2020-2022) before joining Samsunspor, where he currently plays.
