Paris Saint-Germain continues its commitment to grassroots football development, announcing the 34 clubs from the Île-de-France region chosen to participate in the sixth edition of the Club Tour SNIPES. The program, launched in 2021, aims to provide young players with an immersive experience, bringing them closer to the daily life of a professional footballer at one of the world’s leading clubs.
This year’s edition drew a significant level of interest, with 439 applications received for a limited number of spots. Over 2,000 young players will benefit from the program, which encompasses three key activities: training sessions led by PSG coaches at the clubs’ home grounds, the Coupe du Club Tour Snipes – a tournament for 24 clubs held at the PSG Campus in Poissy – and unique opportunities for select players to participate in on-field duels during halftime of a Ligue 1 match at the Parc des Princes.
The initiative underscores PSG’s dedication to nurturing talent within its local community. Between April 20th and May 1st, during the spring school holidays, ten clubs will host training sessions led by qualified PSG educators. Germain Borg, head of pre-formation and coach of PSG’s U15 team, emphasized the program’s focus on demanding, high-quality training. “An PSG training session is one where requirement is at the heart of the content, because the development of the players is at the heart of the subject,” Borg explained. “The notion of commitment is paramount, both for the coaches and the young players.”

Beyond the game, what we want to convey are the values that structure our project: respect, teamwork, and self-improvement.”
The campaign officially launched Monday evening with a reception for club representatives at the Parc des Princes, signaling the start of another year of investment in the future of football in the Île-de-France region.
