“And regarding Balerdi (given that there won’t be much to say about this club by the end of the season), sincerely, to see him wear the armband again, I think it would be an insult to the club. He has never progressed, a cardboard leader, a lying player. The reset this summer will be colossal. I quickly got angry with this player regarding the status and level they tried to offer him. We saw in him a huge market value and it never brought anything positive. He’s a second. A right-hand man. Average. But absolutely not a leader and a captain,” Bonnavent wrote.
