All England 2026: 6 Wakil Indonesia ke Perempatfinal, Hasil & Jadwal Lengkap!

Birmingham – Indonesia will be represented by six athletes and pairs in the quarterfinals of the All England 2026 badminton tournament. The Indonesian contingent secured spots in all five categories, showcasing a strong performance in the Round of 16 held at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham, England, on Thursday, March 5th local time.

The tournament has seen its share of upsets and triumphs for the Indonesian team. In men’s singles, Alwi Farhan advanced to the quarterfinals, overcoming Taiwan’s Chou Tien Chen with a score of 21-13, 21-19. However, Jonatan Christie’s campaign came to an end after a defeat against Taiwan’s Lin Chun Yi, 19-21, 12-21.

In women’s singles, Putri Kusuma Wardani continued her impressive run, defeating Kim Ga-eun of Korea 25-23, 21-15 and securing her place in the final eight.

The men’s doubles category saw two Indonesian pairs advance. Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Rahmat Hidayat defeated Malaysia’s Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin 23-21, 21-17. The young duo of Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin also progressed, surprisingly overcoming their senior teammates, Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, in a three-game thriller: 8-21, 21-14, 21-16.

Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Meilysa Trias Puspitasari continued Indonesia’s success, reaching the quarterfinals in women’s doubles after defeating Japan’s Rin Iwanaga and Kie Nakanishi 21-11, 18-21, 21-17. Unfortunately, Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti were eliminated, falling to another Japanese pair, Yuki Fukushima and Mayu Matsumoto, 15-21, 16-21.

Completing the Indonesian representation in the quarterfinals is the mixed doubles pair of Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwah, who won an all-Indonesian clash against Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, 22-20, 21-18.

These five Indonesian teams will compete in the quarterfinals of the All England 2026 on Friday, March 6th, evening local time. They face increasingly challenging opponents as they vie for a place in the semi-finals.

Alwi Farhan will face second-seeded Kunlavut Vitidsarn of Thailand. Putri Kusuma Wardani will grab on the defending champion and top seed, An Se-Young.

In men’s doubles, Raymond Indra and Nikolaus Joaquin will battle China’s Liang Wei Keng and Wang Cheng. Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Rahmat Hidayat will face another Chinese duo, Chen Bo Yang and Liu Yi.

The women’s doubles pairing of Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma and Meilysa Trias Puspitasari will challenge Malaysia’s Pearly Tan and Tinaah Muralitharan. Finally, in mixed doubles, Amri Syahnawi and Nita Violina Marwah will face China’s Guo Xin Wa and Chen Fang Hui.
