Municipal Badminton School: Growth & Success

One of the disciplines that has been experiencing notable growth for some years now is badminton. Without a doubt, part of it is due to the operation of the Sports School that is under the orbit of the Undersecretary of Sports.

Last Monday, our city hosted an important Regional Badminton Meeting that included the participation of the Pergamino, Rojas, Rafael Obligado, General Viamonte and Los Toldos Schools.

It had the objective of “supporting the activity and giving more competition, interaction and friction to the participants, since they add experience to the children and to carry them out, institutional support is essential, like the one we have here. These meetings strengthen the link between the Schools and strengthen the development of the discipline in the area, whether in the training phase or in the competitive and federated phase,” commented Mauro Churín, level 1 coach and head of the Pergamino School.

In addition, the selective tournament will be held that will define the Argentine representatives for the ODESUR Panama 2026 South American Youth Games, scheduled for April 12 to 25 in Panama City and Playa Venado.
