In mid-December last year, Germaniacus was the first to write about how it is, with Gabriela Rukavinaat the exit gate of Rijeka i Bruno Bogojevićwhich surprised many in Kvarner. Admittedly, after that announcement, a kind of ‘unofficial’ denial quickly arrived, but today it is still clearer to everyone that Germaniak’s information at the time was correct.
Because, this Thursday, the confirmation arrived – Bruno Bogojević (27) is no longer a Rijeka player. The versatile Podravec, who was somewhat more offensively oriented in Slaven, and somewhat more defensively oriented in Rijeka, has now become a new member of Gorica.
He spent about three and a half years Bogojević in Kvarner, he was a rotational, but grateful player. He didn’t ‘complain’ about not playing or about his position constantly changing. He submitted to the team and was an important cog in all the successes since he became part of Rijeka. In total, he made 74 appearances for the current champion in all competitions.
Bogojević will certainly come in handy in Gorica and Mario Tsarevićhas 183 appearances in the HNL with 10 goals, and in the last championship season, he made as many as 27 first-team appearances for Rijeka. He scored his best game in the Rijeka jersey under the leadership of Željko Sopić, in the position of left back, when he scored two goals in a 4-0 victory against Lokomotive.
Interestingly, Bogojević has the most victories in his career – exactly against Gorica. So far, in 21 games, he has achieved 10 wins, four draws and seven losses with one assist. He will have the opportunity to make his debut in the new club already this Friday when Turopolje will host Lokomotiv at Maksimir (18:00, Max Sport 1).
