Criticized last season, Warren Zaire-Emery has found his best level in recent weeks. While the Parisian midfielder, regularly placed in a right-back role, has just passed the milestone of 100 Ligue 1 matches with his training club, he confided in his return to the forefront.
“I always prepare the same way. I always try to play matches with as much energy as possible, with as much intensity as possible. And I think that’s what I missed a little bit last season: the intensity in my races, the impact in the duels. I managed to analyze that and I found that confidence again today. I think it makes a difference and it makes me feel good. I really enjoy being on the pitch and try to take all the matches in the same way, without asking myself any questions, and also to recover well. We also have the best training center, the best physiotherapists… I don’t feel tired at the moment and I hope to continue in this direction, and continue to play as many matches as possible.explained WZE at the microphone of PSG TV.
