BOLASPORT.COM – John Herdman recruited Dzikry Lazuardi, who does not have a professional player background.

John Herdman has announced the first local assistant in his cabinet for the Indonesian national team.

From the start, PSSI asked Herdman to empower local assistants to transfer knowledge.

This is to not repeat Patrick Kluivert’s regime which did not have a local assistant.

At the same time, PSSI wants to repeat the Shin Tae-yong era when Nova Arianto was their right hand man.

Herdman fulfilled this request by appointing Dzikry Lazuardi as local assistant.

Dizkry is an analyst who has worked at Persipura Jayapura, Persis Solo, and Persija Jakarta.

This 28 year old figure has never been a professional player, and immediately entered the field of analysis and coaching.

Before joining Herdman’s staff, he worked as a video analyst for Persija for 1.5 seasons.
