The team led by Abel Ferreira reached four points after achieving their first victory in the competition. Vitória, in turn, remains with three.
How was the game between Palmeiras and Vitória?
Palmeiras dominated the first stage, had more possession of the ball, but needed more than 20 minutes to break through the rival defense. In the 23rd minute, Murilo won the aerial dispute after a corner kick from Andreas Pereira and opened the scoring for Verdão.
