Striker Michael was announced at a new club at the weekend. Champion for Rubro-Negro, he terminated his contract with the Rio team to sign with a team in Saudi Arabia.

The announcement was made with an unusual video, including the new reinforcement acting as “Killer Toy”. The striker signed with Al-Ula, which competes in the second division of Saudi Arabia.
The 29-year-old player amicably terminated his contract with Flamengo, which ran until the end of 2028, last Friday morning (30), and signed with Al-Ula after becoming a free agent on the market. He returns to Saudi Arabia, where he defended Al-Hilal between 2021 and 2024.
In a post on social media, the Saudi club published a video of a “meeting” between the athlete and the killer doll Chucky, precisely the one that inspired a nickname he received at Flamengo, due to his physical similarity to the character from horror stories.
With the Red and Black, he was also champion of the Copa do Brasil (2024), the Supercopa do Brasil (2020, 2021 and 2025) and Carioca (2020, 2021 and 2025).
