France in turn follows American time. As strongly anticipated since November, the Stade de France will host for the first time this fall, on October 25 according to several sources, a regular season NFL match, the professional American football league in the United States. The event, made official this Monday, presents itself as the first step of a sports-business giant in France.
Two wishes came together: that of the company which has managed the Saint-Denis venue since August, GL Events, and that of the National Football League. The first was looking to hit big with an event of international dimension shortly after getting the keys to the stadium. “We want to diversify our offering, and we are very proud of the symbol represented by the arrival of the most important League in the world,” underlines the president and CEO in charge of the company’s Lyon sites, Christophe Cizeron.
