The women’s doubles was similarly close: Nadine Riedel and Brit Köhler lost the first set 13:21, won the second set 21:14, but then lost the deciding set 15:21.
Sascha Massoth was able to secure one of the two points for Bensheim in the first men’s singles. After losing the first set with 17:21, he was able to triumph in the next two sets with 21:17 and 21:11.
Brit Köhler got the second point in the women’s singles, which she won in two sets with 21:11 and 27:25 in overtime.
The mixed doubles with Willy Kosasih and Nadine Riedel remained without a set win at 14:21 and 15:21.
