Selected by the coaches, he thus won a 22nd participation in the All-Star Game (even if he technically could not take part in the 2025 edition). That’s three more than the former record holder, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (19) and six more than the first active player in the ranking, Kevin Durant (16), who will also be there.
As there was no 1999 edition of the All-Star Game due to the “lockout” of the 1998/99 season, this 2026 All-Star Game, which will be played at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on February 15, will be the 75th in NBA history. And with 22 participations, LeBron James will have been present for 30% of all editions!
