One of our most famous athletes apparently has a new acquaintance.
A known philanderer
He belonged to our sports elite. Hockey player Žigmund Pálffy he was drafted into the NHL as an 18-year-old, where he made his debut two years later. Although he did not have the opportunity to lift the famous Stanley Cup above his head, he recorded many individual successes.

Sidney Crosby himself appreciated his skills as a player, and last but not least, Slovak hockey fans. In the final of the World Cup in 2002, it was he who passed Peter Bondra for the winning goal. In addition to being part of the team that secured Slovakia’s first important title, he was also part of the Winter Olympics and the World Cup.
With fame, Pálffy’s name was a magnet, which the athlete was very well aware of. Only years later did it become clear that he had an illegitimate son from an affair with his female fan. Like him, he is also a hockey player today.
Pálffy’s first publicized relationship was with fitness professional Zora Czoborová. The couple got together at the turn of the new century, while their relationship was getting serious. At one point, the well-known sportswoman moved overseas to follow the hockey player and even had an engagement ring on her hand. In 2003, however, their romance ended after Pálffy physically assaulted her. The incident was even dealt with by the local police, who arrested our athlete – and released him only after paying bail.

Despite the scandal, which was also known in our region, Žigo had no shortage of women. According to Nové Čas, he had a short affair with tennis player Henrieta Nagyová and then with presenter Marianna Ďurianová. In the end, Andrea Belányiová, whom he took as his wife after a few months, charmed him the most. But she didn’t change him either – and after four years the couple announced a divorce. The reason was an unexpected event:
“For me it was, as they say, shock therapy. In a word, one day I found out what was going on and I had to decide what to do with it. I thought nonstop what was the right thing to do with regard to Saskia, because it logically changed her life as well,” stated for Plus one day. The decision was all the more difficult due to the fact that their common daughter is handicapped:
New love?
In the corridors, due to the presenter’s statement, there was speculation about Pálffy’s infidelity. Lawyer Svetlana caught his eye, with whom he subsequently admitted his relationship. He did not reveal whether they are still together to this day – or whether their paths have diverged. However, it is certain that he was caught with a significantly younger blonde in 2023.
Apparently, this relationship is also over. As he informed daily Novy Čas, Pálffy’s new acquaintance should be Boris Kollár’s former partner, Barbora Richterová. She is known for the case that shook Slovakia before the last parliamentary elections.

She faithfully spoke about the fact that Kollár physically attacked her, which the politician and businessman subsequently confirmed.
“They have been meeting for a long time, even at her house when Artur is at school,” revealed a source close to the athlete, while Pálffy himself added that he would not comment on the whole matter. He also brought photos as proof of their relationship Plus 1 Day.
But Boris Kollár expressed his wish for a relationship with his ex-partner. However, he did not forgive the sarcastic remark suggesting that things are not too rosy with Richter’s new relationship… “Ziga’s official partner, with whom she lives in Skalica and they have a long-term relationship, will probably not be satisfied. I do not intend to interfere in their lives, it is their decision and I wish them that it lasts for a long time and that they be happy,” he added.
