ASVEL concluded the 18th day of Betclic Elite with a defeat on the floor of Dijon (99-90) after three successes in a row. Which prevents the Rhone club from returning to the podium.

In addition, Kregor Hermet (18 points) and Gregor Hrovat (12 points, 5 assists) reached the five-fault mark for Dijon, as did Mbaye Diaye (8 points, 9 rebounds) then Braian Angola (23 points) in the last seconds for the Rhone residents. A final defensive stop from the Burgundians then two free throws from Jordan Barnett sealed the fate of the match. The JDA signs a prestigious success against ASVEL by nine points (99-90) and gets closer to Chalon-sur-Saône, beaten in Nanterre this Saturday. After three successes in a row, the Villeurbannais fell back and found themselves in fifth place in the ranking, overtaken by Strasbourg after its success at Le Mans.
