The first match of the final day of the 8th Drago Parać tournament was played between Jarun and Križevci workers, starting at 11 a.m.
In a very meaningful match in which Radnik showed an excellent game that brought him several good opportunities, which by a miracle were not realized, and when something like that happens in football, a penalty usually follows, and instead of taking the lead in the 34th minute, Jarun took the lead with an own goal by Pavišić.
After the first half, coach Vodanović had reason to be satisfied with everything except the result. Right at the beginning, a penalty kick and Guja restores the balance to the score. We continued to watch a very interesting match in which the people of Križevci left an impression on everyone present with a very attractive game. After an hour, Vodanović decided to change the entire team and then with the changes made by Fernečina Jarun, first Ljubić scored for a 2:1 advantage, and then Petković from a penalty kick confirmed the victory of Jarun, which in the end brought him the title of winner of the tournament.
In the end, Radnik finished in the last 4th place, but he was satisfied with his performance on the field and showed that Mario Vodanović’s team will play a significant role in the continuation of the 2nd NL, and considering that the four are entering a higher rank, it is an opportunity for the people of Križevci to join the fight between those four.
