BarcelonaSince Barça decided to close sine the the Espai d’Animation (EDA), in November 2024, the tension between the groups that were part of it and the club had been increasing. Postures were totally entrenched and it seemed impossible that there would be any kind of reconciliation. Joan Laporta’s directive required them to pay the 21,000 euros in fines derived from the bad behavior of the fans. And they, who doubted that they were the real culprits of the sanctions, refused to pay a single cent and demanded a dialogue that the club did not want to accept. In fact, the board went for the right and presented the Gol 1957 project to the assembly of trustees, an entertainment space created and coordinated by the club where – taking into account the proposed requirements – there would be no place for any of the former members. There was nothing to suggest that, in mid-January, there would be a twist of the script and that the two sides would sit down to talk and lay the foundations for a reconciliation.
