At Club Brugge, Raphael Onyedika is increasingly linked with a departure and he seems to be in his last months or even days at the club. The people of Bruges are therefore already looking for a successor and may have found one at… KRC Genk.
Onyedika’s name is increasingly appearing in foreign rumors. Galatasaray in particular would show concrete interest in the Nigerian, who himself would not be averse to a new step. Club Brugge would prefer to keep him, but is gradually preparing for a possible departure.
In that case, blue-black is surprisingly looking towards a direct competitor. According to the generally not always reliable Africafoot Ibrahima Sory Bangoura from KRC Genk is high on the list as a possible successor. The 22-year-old midfielder is no longer a regular starter at Genk, but his profile does appeal to Club.
However, a deal seems anything but simple. Bangoura is still under contract for several years and is estimated at a market value of eight million euros. Moreover, Genk will not be eager to have Bangoura move to Club Brugge.
