The Bosch Sports Agreement wants all residents of ‘s-Hertogenbosch to be able to participate in sports and exercise. An incentive pot of 69,560 euros is available for 2026; applications can be submitted from February 1. In addition to the annual arrangement, the core team also hands out a small check for 500 euros every month — the first of this year was recently presented to Badminton association BCH during the Den Bosch Sport and Exercise Meeting. BCH receives the contribution for organizing an accessible youth tournament to introduce children from the municipality to badminton. “We really didn’t expect this,” responded a surprised BCH representative.
The sports agreement was signed in February 2020 and has since supported various local initiatives. Last year, Full Force Dance Company, among others, received support for toddler and preschool gym in Nuland, HUB Rosmalen received funding for exercise activities for students with learning and/or behavioral problems and Table Tennis Association De Kruiskamp ’81 received money to set up an OldStars table tennis offering. In 2025, the independent core team approved thirteen larger projects and also provided eleven organizations with a contribution of 500 euros; There were many more requests than the budget, which meant that not every request could be honored.
The 2026 subsidy scheme emphasizes three themes: an inclusive and hospitable sports environment so that everyone feels welcome; encouraging an active youth and reducing sports dropout among young people; and strengthening sports providers so that they can also offer a sustainable offer in the future. Projects must meet criteria; the independent core team assesses the applications on those conditions.
Practical information, the criteria and the application form can be found on the S-PORT website (www.s-port.nl/bosch-sport covered). If you have any questions, interested parties can contact coordinator Evy Pappot via email.
