Lekkerkerk – The members of the Jeu de Boules Association Nederlek have agreed to the construction of a covered boulodrome at the sports park on Tiendweg West in Lekkerkerk. The hall will be 37 meters long and will have 11 lanes for petanque.

The new hall makes it possible to play petanque all year round, regardless of the weather. “With an indoor hall we can continue to exercise continuously. That is good for our fitness and for social contact,” says the board.

Home games possible

JBV Nederlek participates in the NJJB competition. Until now, the association often had to play competition matches at external locations. With the new hall, the club can finally also organize home matches.

Apply for an environmental permit

The board can now apply for the environmental permit from the municipality of Krimpenerwaard. JBV Nederlek is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. An opening of the boulodrome would be the crowning achievement of the anniversary year.

New members and sponsors are welcome. More information is available www.jbvnederlek.nl.
